George Sipos works as an arts administrator on Salt Spring Island. His most recent collection of poems, The Glassblowers, was published by Goose Lane Editions in 2010. A previous collection, Anything But the Moon, also from Goose Lane, was short listed for the Dorothy Livesay poetry prize in 2006. Gaspereau Press published The Geography of Arrival, a prose memoir, also in 2010. It was shortlisted for the 2011 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction.
