Based in Toronto, Scarsbrook has a number of books to his credit, including Cheesburger Subversive, which was shortlisted for several awards including the 2004 Canadian Young Adult Book of the Year award. Destiny's Telescope features stories that have won the 2002 Lawrence House Centre for the Arts Short Story competition and 2000 New Orphic Short Fiction Competition.
